About Teufel Landscape:

Teufel Landscape is a leading company specializing in the installation of commercial landscapes, irrigation systems, pedestal pavers, planters, woodwork, amenity spaces and green roofs. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Landscape Construction Estimator to join our team in Kent, WA. This position is not remote and requires on-site presence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Establish mark-ups, assess risks, and evaluate market conditions.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
  • Perform accurate take-offs using PlanSwift Takeoff software.
  • Solicit and compare competitive vendor pricing.
  • Prepare precise material lists and organize vendor quotes.
  • Present estimates to Business Developers and Branch Managers.
  • Assist Project Managers post-contract with material quotes, take-offs, and other necessary information.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial landscaping experience.
  • Strong landscape and irrigation knowledge.
  • Excellent computer and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Timberline estimating, PlanSwift, and ProCore is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Requirements:

  • Construction estimating: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Commercial landscaping: 2 years (Required)

Work Schedule:

Full Time, Monday to Friday (no nights or weekends)

Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
